Roger Austin

Roger Lee Austin, PA-C

 Roger was born in our community and now serves as a Certified Physician's Assistant at Granite Falls Family Medical Center. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Assistant Studies, with honors, from East Carolina University, later reciving a Master of Health Services degree from Duke University. He received his PA certification in 1999 and received special recognition for scoring in the top 10% on the National College of Certified Physician Assistants exam in Surgery. Prior to joining Dr. Bujold's practice, he worked as a PA at the Department of Interventional Radiology at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.

 

Lucy Walker

Lucy Walker, FNP-C

 Lucy was born in Burke County and now serves as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Granite Falls Family Medical Care Center. Lucy received her Nursing Degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and went on to pursue a Masters in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She worked as a critical care nurse at Valdese General Hospital and Frye Regional Hospital before pursuing aPost Masters Family Nurse Practioner Degreeat the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition she is a Lt. Colonel in the Army Nurse Corps and currently serves in a reserve status for a Medical Support Unit in the United States Army. She served a tour of duty in support of Iraq in 2004. Lucy brings a wealth of experience to our health delivery team.
